I really hate poison Ivy. Specially now. Normaly when i'd get it, nothin really serious. Now when I get it, my face gets swallowed by it, along with my neck, my arms, and now its struck again, on my leg. This really sucks, and I'll have to spend 5 years in my pool so the chlorine can dry it out, and Aveno baths. Any advice on why the case has become really bad, this is the 3rd time already.

For a moment there, I thought you meant Poison Ivy of Batman fame. As to your plight, I have no clue as there is no poison ivy over here.

SecretMaster, have you tried applying some aloe vera? Heard it can help. Or have you seen a doctor?

Uh, I'm 12, my parents probably wouldn't take me. But i got my pool, and lots of Chlorine.

Ask your parents to get you some aloe vera, SecretMaster. Maybe aloe vera cream or something. I heard it's great for irritated skin.

<font color="plum">My dad is also VERY allergic to Poison Ivy. He uses an extreme measure to dry his up - he pours <font color="white">bleach</font> directly onto the site.

It will burn - a LOT, but it will also dry it up.

Check with your parents before you do something like that, though, and get their opinion.

Lye soap works and is less harsh. Used to wash all exposed area when finished with outdoor work at my Father's farm in Pennsylvania. Only time Poison Ivy got me then was in a cut in my skin that made direct contact with that vile weed.

You might try benadryl creme and take benadryl tablets to help relieve the itch. What I do to dry up the rash is use rubbing alcohol soak a wash cloth and rub the blisters until the break. that usually works for me,oh one other thing you need a high tolerance for pain. good luck
