right help me out guys im unsure about what to do almost idefinate rejection sucks but...
|
I have had this dilemma before. Just ask her. You never know what she will say. I would suggest that you drag it out a little, I mean, act nice to her and all, do all the good stuff. ;) I just asked the person straight out. And guess what happened?
"I just want to be friends". :( Ah well, you will have to put up with these things in life, if she says yes, you're all cool. If she says no, you're all cool anyway. Just take the chance. If you don't, you might soon find that that chance is gone. That what will you do? |
,man she is seriously one of the nicest girls ive met its just im realy unsure... i guess its lots to do wth having the guts to do it

Depends on what your current relationship is to her, I'd say. Is this a complete stranger or someone you don't really know that well? Just give it a shot, if she says no, nothing lost. If she's been a close friend for a longer time, well, that's more complicated... You could lose a friendship over asking it. But if you need real advice from IW members, you should give more background information.
Edit: three times "I'd say" within 6 sentences? Man, I'm getting old... Brrrr. Away with them. [ 07-15-2002, 08:35 PM: Message edited by: Grojlach ] |
Why is it almost certain rejection? Is it the type where you're all negative and think she'll never like me, I suck, no one will ever love me? Or is it the type where she already has a boyfriend so will reject you? Or she doesn't date anyone so will reject you? It's hard to say what you should do on this info

It may eat at you for years to come if you never know.
There is no harm in taking the chance but be sure to tell her beforehand that no matter what her answer is, you don't want it to affect your friendship and be prepared not to let a "no" drive you away from being friends with her. I've lost guy friends that I really adored because they asked me out but weren't prepared for me to say no and never talked to me again because they were embarassed or mad. No one understood that just because they thought I was pretty didn't mean I did or that I was very shy about the whole concept of dating. I miss them. |
okay thanks guys
moni im going to bed now. then im gonna as her out in the morning Cheers guys! |
Good luck man! I think you're doing the right thing for the right reasons. Regardless of the outcome it'll turn out better than you think. Sounds wierd but I speak from personal experience in matters exactly like this.
