My archer is now most of the way through ToB, and I find myself immensely disgusted with the long bows thus far in the game.

Is there a program that would allow me to create a long bow for the game that *doesn't* stink?

download IEEP from www.teambg.com It's a handy little program that allows you to make items, spells, stores and npc's there are plenty of tutorials of how to use it on the site

if there are no non-stinky bows in BG2, then wots the point in playing an Archer??? i mean, they are perfectly strong at the start but they do seem to get weaker against tougher opponents.

<font color="gold">IMO, there are good longbows in BG2, especially with ToB. Have you tried the Taralash, or the Mana Bow? Both great weapons. [img]smile.gif[/img] </font>
