Caleb, I'm sure you meant this in good humour, but alas I think it could cause upset....

Not being comfortable with blind patriotism doesn't equal bashing, though...

Yawn...who cares? ;)

Americans should have thick skin. Why should we let bashing rain on our parade.

(Of course, maybe I don't have a right to celebrate the Fourth Of July!) ;)

You didn't post it Mark. Perhaps when you post up something that fills you with joy and happiness we'll just sit back and watch when people call you egotistical or something.

That's what it's about. Someone singing their joy, and others coming in and stomping on it.

Ummmm. Patriotism doesn't equate blindness Groj. That's a really harsh generalisation bro. It could be said those who aren't patriotic are BLIND to their nations positives couldn't it.

Then where would we be. Everyones blind?

Spare the insulting adjectives please Groj. ;)

I can see this erupting in flames after about two or three pages - inevitably someone will not get the joke, or take it seriously, and one thing leads to another. ;) There are several precedents for this and freedom of speech arguments do not apply in this case. Sorry caleb, not everyone has your sense of humour - and also, sorry for spoiling your fun. I know exactly what you're trying to do. Fishing not allowed here. :D
