Spam is unwanted or uneeded messages.

On a message board it can include a missplaced message (Like above) or an unwanted or stupid message or question. Spam is usually an insult to the poster, unless it is quite obvious.

spam is canned ham but also the meaningless posting of messages with the only possible purpose of annoying other people. Its like putting an ad on a bulletin board and then putting the same add 20 times over. Furthermore there is e-mail spam, you've probably had it yourself. Dozens of unwanted e-mails concerning nothing of real interest dumped in your mailbox every 5 minutes. Plus its a way a gaining in rank here on the forum by constantly posting messages that hold no actual content. Clear? ;)

Read this thread - nearly every post on it is spam (except mine on page 3 - read it and learn). ;)

In short: SPAM = BAD.

Don't do it. BAD THINGS happen to people who do it. ;)

Yes,from what I've heard Memnoch has a pet ogre intent on "helping" spammers remember that it is no good spamming!!!! :D
