I was messin around on the net when I found a HUGE map of Faerun. I was surprised of how detailed and how little of an area the game takes place.(Including Bg1)Maybe 20 years later when there is better technology maybe they can put in the WHOLE thing! Wont that be just great? You can spend hours and hours and find something new. Then you can go to places like waterdeep, Thay, Kara Tura, which are only just mentioned in the game! Then again it would take a LONG LONG LONG time to make the game...... but I really wanna play it!

It'd be even more amazing if you could go all over Toril, down to Zakhara and over to Maztica. Probably play with a boat in that kinda game.

By the time the technology is out to make a game the size of Fearun, we have VR technology and we can all walk and talk in that world like it is the one we are in now.

I had this confersation with some friends of mine a while back about Unreal 2 VR in your home town. Or rather, the entire world as it is now and then play through it. Like, if you need to assassinate a person in simbabwe and your in canada right now, you'd have to steal cars, hijack a plane or boot to get to him. And then you can blow up the building he's in or drive over him with a car a put poison in his drink. All we need is a continent full of CPU's, memory modules and 3d hard drives !! Game on ya'll.

of course you can travel to the other worlds in the system: anyone remember the game "Spelljammer"? Might serve as a fun basis for BG3 or 4.
