Hello I started a new game on soa yesterday and thought i might cheat for the the fun of it. i started by using a charactor i downloaded off the web. he was a sourceror level 50. half way through chapter 2 every time i tried to cast a spell ll that was happening was in the battle text it was saying :Wild surge! Wild colors and squirrals... squiarrals every where! and a whole load of squirrals would appear!.
please tell me if this is a bug or if it has happend to any of you. if so how do i fix it?

You sure you downloaded a sorcerer ??
It sounds like a wild-mage to me .. these type of mages tend to get a little crazy sometimes.

If you're not a lvl 50 wild-mage, but a sorcerer, its a bug ... Though since he's lvl 50, which is beyond the XP-cap, i doubt any patches at baldurdash or official patches are going to help.
I suggest you search for a patch or something, at the same place you downloaded your sorcerer.
But again, make sure he is a sorcerer, and not a wild-mage, if he's a wild-mage, you're ok .. and in for some fun !! :D

The guy you downloaded is probably a ToB-character, cause IIRC, Wild Surge comes only with ToB. But as daan said, only the Wild Mage, a ToB-kit, can have that ability, so the guy you downloaded is probably heavy cheated! :D </font>
