OJ Simpson is releasing a book on how he hypothetically could have killed his ex-wife and her friend... if he had done it... which of course he didnt.

Sometimes I wish there actually is a hell, so that guys like OJ can burn in it.

The world sometimes looks like a better place when you put it all in context. Will this guy still be around in, say, 50 years? What about 80? The book might live longer. Maybe few thousand years, if enough copies are preserved in optimum conditions. If new copies are constantly made, bits will eventually lost in translating it into what the language has changed to. And if it was made with second-quality pigment on second-quality paper, and none really care about it, the author might even outlive it.

In a hundred years he will be rembered by very few. In five hundred, none. In twenty thousand, glacier cover large parts of the globe and it will have made absolutely no difference whatsoever whether he lived or not and everything he ever accomplished in life will be dust.

You don't really need a hell.

Also, for the record, I would like to say I have no idea what I'm talking about.

God, doesn't he know that he's so over?

To paraphrase George Carlin, he doesn't need a hell. He has to hang out with golfers for the rest of his life.

Ah good...i was running low on toiletpaper, and was looking for cheaper alternatives. I just hope it doesn't give my ass a rash like what happened when i used the koran.

I dont know about that, his mockery of a trial is something I doubt will ever be forgotten. Hell I did speeches on it for many of my legal courses and people are always interested in it.

Just when I think my opinion of the Fox network can't get any worse...

If they don't make sure that all the money they are paying for this interview goes to the family, then I may remove Fox from my channel lineup.

I won't make a point to boycott the book publisher...based on the examples the article cites of what they publish, I don't think I'll ever be tempted to buy anything from them anyway.

Whether or not OJ actually did the crimes, this book and interview are in extremely poor taste.

How could you doubt that face?

I wouldn't be surprised if the book contains far more fact than fiction. The desire to brag about our accomplishments is a fairly consistent human trait. This was one of the most infamous crimes of the previous century and - deep inside - the murderer would have a strong desire to tell people "I DID IT!"

By hypothetically confessing, he can get the gratification of saying "I DID IT (but not really)" without risking becoming even more of a pariah than he already has.

Ideally the government should rush in at a book signing and haul him off saying "If you did it, you're going to jail". Later, on being asked by the public where he was the officials would respond "If we arrested him he'd be rotting in a cell" and then the world would think he just packed up and went to Bali or something. That'll do it.
