A couple of security videos of Flight 77 crashing into the pentagon have been released by the DOD.

Maybe more Squaresoft than pixar. They're pretty good at realistic animations.

In the second video it hits fairly early, in the first it's about 1/2way through, you can see a bit of the plane in the second one, just the explosion in the first.

I have a friend whose pretty sure that wasn't a plane, and unfortunately these do nothing to dissuade him of it.

On a lighter note, that site's layout cracks me up. Anyone else not trust a gathering of 6 old white guys in suits? lol

That plane looks really tiny when compared to that explosion. Do they always blow up like that?

Those aren't from a constantly-on camera. They're from one that takes a picture every so many seconds. If you look, you can see the plane appear on the right in one shot, followed by a fireball in the next.

It was going pretty fast...

Oh I saw it Bungleau. It's just that you can't use either video to prove to someone who thinks it's a tomahawk missile (or some such) that it's not.

The plane looks so small because the Pentagon is MASSIVE. I believe the largest non skyscraper on the planet. (footprint wise)

So it'd look very small.
