When I rolled up my F/M character one of the spells I chose was the Minute Meteors. The problem is that if I choose this spell to cast nothing happens. No spell icon will come on, only a sword icon to melee'. I can successfully memorize, but not cast (and, yes, I know not to wear armor; other spells are castable). Yes, I have patched the game. Any suggestions? Thanks

Melf's Minute Meteors isn't a targeted spell. It adds a bunch of mini-fireballs to the caster's inventory, and your character throws them as a ranged attack.
