What is your opinion on the current situation in Taiwan, and the state of Taiwan in general?

shamrock_uk 03-02-2006 05:23 PM

What's wrong with it?

Asides from an economic slump I thought they were doing quite well for themselves. Have I missed a big event there?

In general...well I guess that depends whether America is still committed to its defence at all cost?

If not, then it's fairly insignificant and will no doubt be gobbled up in the next 50 years when China is a bit more headstrong.

Pathetic goverment! The president have no balls. Do what East Timor did and hold a referendum to decide your country future. Geez! Wtf is he waiting for?!
