Why is it, that an outside source can hit so close to reality, but from within, we call it a cover-up?

Someone is lying, who is it?

The government blame game is just one lingering issue worthy of questions.

Why are there still trashed communities and neighborhoods throughout the affected region? Waveland, MS, amongst other places, almost looks exactly like it did the first week of September! WTF!

What about the over 3,000 people still listed as missing? 3,0000 people! Are they dead bodies washed out to the Gulf or Lake Ponchatrain, or are they just lost in the system?

Too many questions with few answers in sight.

Engineers have known for decades that a Category 3+ hurrican directly hitting New Orleans would cause severe widespread destruction. That anyone could be surprised by what happened is not only ridiculous, but impossible to believe.

It wasn't only the Federal government that failed the citizens of New Orleans. The state government and the local government both failed. They should have been having mandatory evacuations days before the storm. I recall one government official stating something along the lines of "Americans don't live in tents" as to why they didn't. They'll live in a tent if it means surviving the hurricane!

Many of those still missing probably were washed into the lake, nearby swamp, or sucked down the river into the Gulf. 3,000 is a lot of people.

Rather than bitching about who failed or who knew what and when they knew it, Chewbacca is right--they should be out picking up trash and finding ways to continue to rebuild the region.
