First, 12 reported alive. Then, all but 1 found dead. Church bells pealed across the state for three full hours. Can you believe this SNAFU??

Terrible. And they knew for 3 hours before letting the families know. :(

Mining has always been tough dangerous work but the way this was handled was FUBAR. I was watching the live breaking news announcement they were alive, then went to bed only to awaken to the crap news. No wonder the families freaked-out.
