Well I did hear a tide of media opinion saying how he was under fire from his own side too, but was a bit sceptical that this was reflective of republican opinion.

Mind you, I can't help thinking that if an Aussie or a European had posted it then it might be considered to be a hangin offence on the grounds of inflaming nationalistic outrage. ;)

And now that I think further on it, didn't a certain circular cinnamon comestable conclude his tenure because of legislation preventing him from beating his poodle?

Which is my point exactly Davros. The heat as gone out of the Bush = moron debate not because (sadly) of the immorality of the war for the refusal to hand over non existent WOMD, or telling Arabian horse committee members that they are doing a great job, but because of ineptitude over the economy.
