In the Moroccan capital Casablanca, thousands have taken to the streets in protest against the al-Qaeda network, after two fellow countrymen were taken hostage in Iraq.
Al-Qaeda has threatened to kill the two Moroccan embassy staff, because the country supports the war in Iraq. Several ministers, opposition leaders and heads of human rights groups have joined the protest. (rnw.nl) A message I can relate to. |
This is good.

About time! We hear so little about Muslims protesting about the rise in the acceptance of terror as a legitimate Muslim way. That may be as a result of fear, or a lack of media attention or as I am beginning to think, the turning of a blind eye to this type of shame. Does anyone else think of europe in the 1930's and the blind eye turned towards the facist ideal that allowed hitler and others to flourish.
Muslims the world over need to do more. |
