Wonderful -- the prosecutor doesn't care that they were legally married in Kansas with her mother's consent, he's going to ignore that & put hubby in jail anyway. He should keep his nose out of their bedroom.

What's the age of consent in Nebraska? Can you legally marry someone under the age of consent... I don't think so, somehow.

Not that they didn't try to make the best of it, but it's not a very good situation anyway.

Yes, it appears that Kansas would allow the marriage, but the marriage was not the first thing that they did, was it? Therefore, it was illegal...no matter how they tried to fix things.</font>
