I read an article on the local morning tabloid this morning, where a woman who was allegedly Saddam's mistress claimed that the person in the tape of Saddam making a speech after the "decapitation attack" was NOT Saddam Hussein.
I've not been able to find any online reports of this.
For IW members in Singapore, the article was carried in today's edition of Streats.

Well, not long after the initial missile bombing, I heard that he and his son where really there and did get wounded.

The guy in the tape did look like him, but he didn't really comment on the bombing, so I think they just showed a tape that had ben registered some time before.

A woman scorned and all that, President Saddam is a survivor, if you read his biography on the net you'll see what I mean.

Anyway, this will be my last post for sometime as I have a work meeting I have to attend 300 miles away.
Lets hope for a peaceful resolution meantime, it's not too late.
