A US Army spokesman, when asked about the possibility of a coalition plane being shot down over Baghdad and its occupants parachuting into the river refuted the claim saying there was no missing plane, but then commented on the video of the Iraqi's looking for the downed pilots, their shooting into the river, and burning the brush at the shoreline.

He said the video makes it clear that "their search and rescue techniques leave alot to be desired."

Certainly not a Geneva Convention inspired methodology. ;)

My take on the Iraqi search methods is that there will be a whole lot less 7.62x39 rounds to send down range at US and British Soldiers come time to take Baghdad. In fact, I think they need to do some more searching along the river banks!</font>
