I heard on the news this morning that he has ordered 15,000 uniforms made to be identical to American and British uniforms. He is getting them for his "special forces" and it is believed that he intends to commit atrocities against his own people and accuse American and British troops of committing them.

Is this comfirmed? I would say what is on my mind about Saddam , but this is a family forum so use your imagination.

Sounds like a load of crap to me. If he really was planning that do you think we would know about it? Also, everyone would have to be stupid to be fooled by such a simple trick. It would be easy to prove that there were no British or American troops in any place at any given time as all their orders are recorded.

I wouldn't be too quick to discount the possibility of him doing such a thing either. He would be playing on the general "anti-war" sentiment and showing "proof" that the Americans and Brits are even more "monstrous" than he is.
