This is almost turning into another World War, with the Middle East, North Korea. What do you think?

Alot of deaths? Well, all 3 of the countrys, Iraq, NK, and the US has big armys, thats for sure. But numbers dont matter a whole lot if one side has a lop sided advantage in Tech.

I dont think it will be as cataclysmic as WW 2. </font>

Somehow I get this awful feeling that something bad will happen in Iraq. I hope I'm wrong, but I keep thinking Saddam has some big surprise planned.

<font color="#ffccff">Just a personal opinion, but letting your fears keep you from taking action is the surest way to self destruction that I can think of. If SH has WoMD and he uses them (most likely in an attempt to draw Israel into the war) then I think the Israeli's will end Iraq's involvement in world affairs rather abruptly. In the mean time, Any world leader worth the title would not allow fear of a tyrant and what he might do sway their decision to do what they see as the correct and proper thing for their nation. Fear, should not be your guiding instinct. </font>

Joining this one late.
The US has far less troops than the days of the GW live fire. During the clinton years we dropped whole divisions from the Army. Not including USMC MEU's, the ground forces of the US is only 10 Divisions. That is just enough to work a six month deployment somewhere in the world every other freakin year. And not enough to fight a two tier combat exercise, while conducting peace and stability operations in, KFOR, SFOR, AFGANFOR, KuwaitFOR, Korea, and homeland security.
Lop sided advantage in tech??? Think of the days of the great war monger-Patton. He had the smaller force, the not so advanced tech, and took a bite out of their butts. He learned to fight against both a superior force, and superior equipment. Yes we have the better equipment. But, will we be supplied on time, Ol Sarge always taught me. Keep em filled with "Beans, Bullets, and Fuel" and they will take the objective.
