I'm watching the news very closely this weekend.

This weekend will mark the end of Ramadan. Supposedly, Osama has something big planned. Do you think something will happen? Personally, I think something could but, of course, hope not.

I saw a Islamic scholar being interviewed, based on the subject, this morning, and he said those that die on the last day of Ramadan receive even more blessings in heaven than the standard 70 virgins, etc., we've all heard about for martyrs.

Other than one HELL of a party in his cave, I don't reckon Osama'll have anything planned.

I've wondered if he might consider using a dirty bomb against the approaching troops once it's obvious he has no further chance. Going out with a "bang". If he did this, the world would blame the US, you know they would.

From the beginning, I thought one of the worst things that could happen would be for US troops to build up "in country" and for the terrorist to use some kind of weapon of mass destruction against them.

Ronn, without meaning to sound callous towards our brave solders that are hunting his sorry ass, I am far more worried that OBL would try to use a dirty bomb in an American city where he could kill many thousands or tens of thousands and maybe make that city uninhabitable.

That is a real nightmare scenario.

Oh yes, without a doubt. I just wonder if something like that might not be a part of his plan.

specialists said that dirty bombs arent that lethal. yes, some will die, but the low grade radiation they have, can be helped with antibiotics. the blast itself will kill some people, but it will only be a car-bomb sized explosion, nothing at all like a nuke. yes, they can be dangerous, but NOTHING to be too concerned about.
