'Twas the night before Payback and all through the Land,
They're running like rabbits in Afghanistan, Osama's been praying, he's down on his Knees, He's hoping that Allah will hear all his Pleas. He thought if he killed us that we'd fall and Shatter, But all that he's done is just make us Madder. We ain't yet forgotten our Marines in Beirut, And we'll kick your butt, with one heavy Boot. And yes we remember the USS Cole, And the lives of our sailors that you bastards Stole. You think you can rule us and cause us to Fear, You'll soon get the answer if you live to Hear. And we ain't forgotten your buddy Saddam, And he ain't forgotten the sound of our Bombs. You think that those mountains are somewhere to Hide. They'll go down in history as the place where you Died. Remember Khadhafi and his Line of Death? He came very close,to his final Breath. So come out and prove it, that you are a Man, Cause our boys are coming and they have a Plan. They are our fathers and they are our Sons, And they sure do carry some mighty big Guns. They would have stayed home with children and Wives, Till you bastards came here and took all these Lives. Osama I wrote this especially for You, For air mail delivery by B-52. You soon will be hearing a thud and a whistle, Old Glory is coming, attached to a Missile. I will not be sorry to see your ass Go. It's Red, White, and Blue that is running this Show |
::loud whistle::
Hear, hear! ::standing ovation:: |

I get the feeling this is also applicable to the way we are handling the whole situation. There is always another terrorist, just ask the Isrealis. Nice poem though I am not too keen on the whole "revenge" thing myself. Please don't take that as a personal attack - I just wouldn't want to march under a banner with that written on it. |
funny. Nearly all the lines rhyme too. You are apoet of much skill.

just slightly disturbing then...!Don't get me wrong i'm in favour of bombing them...but i just am not particularly pleased that we have to do it and i certainly don't get any pleasure out of it. And to be honest the whole "running like rabbits in afghanistan" line kind of makes me want to puke.

Quite so, but please don't forget that the British SAS have been covertly operating in Afghanistan since the beginning of the conflict. Try to remember the friends that put their lives on the line for the cause - the only 'ally' to send combat troops...

Hell yeah, John!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
I'll be printing this one!!!!!!!! |
Sorry bout the arrows but that's how it was forwarded to me and I'm to lazy to edit them LOL. Please folks, don't forget that these are the people we should be thinking about. Osama or whoever you want to blame for the horrible acts these past months will have their day in court. Remember the soldiers...they are the ones that die alone and without much mention at all. We've already lost around a dozen and their loss shouldn't be glossed over on the 6 o'clock news. -Peace-

Khan, I like that one too!!!! It's easy to forget the price paid for our freedom, it's a damn shame.
