Right now I have successfully finished the Underdark. After returning to the surface I want to continue with my remaining quests i.a. the Windspear Hills quest. But on my world map the Windspear Hills icon is disabled and grayed - as far as I can remember it was functional before I went to free Imoen and descended into the Underdark.
Btw I have spoken to Lord Firkraak in chapter 2.

Does anybody here have a clue or knows of a way to enable this icon on my map again ???????????????????????

Hmmmm...not sure. I will tell you that I went back to Windspear after finishing the Underdark, so it should work!

Where are you right now? Have you been in the hills already? If not then you can travel into the hills only through the City Gates in Akathla. More precisely:
1. You can travel to a new area only through the City Gates in Akathla. If you try to travel to a new area from elsewhere then you find the area grayed and inaccessible.
2. You can travel to an already visited area from anywhere.
Therefore:
If you aren't at City Gates and if you haven't been in the hills aready then travel to City Gates first and then go to the hills. It should be possible. After visiting the hills, you'll be able return there from anywhere.
Otherwise, you seem to be a victim of some bug in the game. I cannot suggest anything. Sorry.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH - this could be the solution !!! I tried to travel to the Windspear Hills area directly from the Underdark exit area.
Right now I´m at work ;) so I have to wait to try this out but hopefully it will work ...

I had the same issue, and I do believe what our friend suggested is what worked for me. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Basically I just went higgledy piggledy and tried accessing it (though for me it was the Umar Hills) from every zone possible. Eventually one was the winnah, which most likely was, indeed, the City Gates.

If I remember correctly, once you have gone to the underdark, you wont be able to go back and finish the SOA quests until after you have had the final showdown with Bodhi. I may be mistaken though, it has been a while.
