IIRC, it has something to do with the fact that he can remember 8 Magic Missiles. It also improves his spellcasting or something.
No, hang on, I'll go check in NI. ;) |
Well, I checked it out in Near Infinity, and appearently, it gives him 2 extra spells from levels 1-9. ;)

I think it gives Edwin 2 extra spells per spell level.
I am not sure about it though. EDIT:Posting at the same time!Argh! [ 05-20-2002, 04:46 PM: Message edited by: Helspanth ] |

And I thought it just identified him as a member of the Red Wizards lol

Too Sir Exxon
I recogine the quote in your sig: "What we do in life, echoes in eternity" where's it from its begining to wind me up, for the life of me I cant remember where I've heard it before lol |
Wait don't answer, Gladiator right? It just come to me now lol
|
Actually, I believe that it DOES identify him as a Thayan. He gets the base mage spells, then +1 per level for being a specialist, +1 per level for being a Red Wizard of Thay, and +1 for something else D&D related (I don't know if anyone ever figured it out, I've heard that he may be a Zulkir, in which case he would get an extra spell per lvl, but I don't know). Anyways, that's the D&D reason behind his amulet...but in the game it just gives him +2 spells per level.
