I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question...but I will any way.

Recently I've decided to play SoA again and I've been trying to install it for the past two weeks. Every time I've tried it asks for "Disk 5" after it gets done with disk one. (actualy to be more specific, when it is done with CD1 it goes to CD2, but doesn't do any thing with it and asks for CD3 right away and then asks for CD4 and then CD5.)

I've tried all of the suggestions on the tech-support page, does any one know any other ways to fix this problem?

Try to completely uninstall Baulders gate by going to add/delete programs in your control panel. Maybe there is some file hanging on.

There isn't. Since the last time it was on my computer I have totaly reformatted my HDD. I did remember to get all of the current drivers for every thing since then too.

I've tried that. Its not durring the game that this happens...its durring installation. I've tried all the installation types, and they all do the same thing.

I had that problem Pipboy, it was killing me because I wanted to play again, but the game had been uninstalled by some fool. I think that this can occur if the cd's are scratched. I fixed the problem by buying a new set of cd's. Other than that I cannot help you. Sorry.

I know that's not the problem because it installed fine on friends PC.

IIRC it's a well known bug... Have you checked the official Black Isle site for a possible solution to your problem? :confused:
