There seems no apparent motive other than someone just being really disturbed. If it is pranks it sure isn't very funny. I remember watching a movie once were these guys were playing a card game were crimes were based on the card. Really warped.

One of Toronto's most popular beaches was booby trapped with at least 13 razor-sharp utility blades, buried in the sand and discovered only moments before a volleyball tournament began yesterday. The blades were embedded in blocks of wood and meticulously planted in Woodbine Beach sometime between 6:30 p.m. Saturday and yesterday morning, police said.

what kind of sick mind would go to the effort of attaching blades to blocks, before burying them in the sand [img]graemlins/saywhat.gif[/img]
