i'm still currently playing through bauldurs gate 2 for the first time, and when i came out of the underdark and was attacked by jaheras old friend from the harpers i inadvertantly attacked elhan and left the screen and carried on with the rest of the game, now i have the lanthorn after killing bodhi and i think i may have to take it to elhan but when i get there he is hostile to me and if i attack him an elven guard shows up tells me i shouldnt atack my friends and then kills me, can someone help pls with a solution to this problem

Now, for your question. You will have to go to a previous save. Cause if you first attack Elhan, he will always be hostile.
But if you dont have a previous save, you can use CLUAConsole. Someone else here should know the code, as I dont remember it at the moment.. ;)

EDIT: remembered the code! Write:
CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("AR2500")
