Tens of thousands of people calling for democracy in Hong Kong marched through the city yesterday, in scenes reminiscent of the July 1 protest when half a million people poured on to the streets.


Chanting "We want democracy - one man one vote", protesters wound for nearly three kilometres through busy shopping districts to the main government offices.
