I am doing BG2 for the third time, but am stuck on the most basic of things....I can't enter the circus???

The boy has told me what happened. The guard has also said his piece.

But when I move my mouse over the circus entrance to go in, the mouse icon just doesn't chnage to the door entry graphic. I can't get in!

Is there something I have missed? Something that I did last time without thinking about it?

I have BG 2 with the patch, with ToB installed also with the patch (in that order). I have no additional patches or changes.

Any ideas?

Hmm, thats a new bug...try installing ToB patch v89 or is it v99 anyway its a beta patch try it out it might work

have you talked to the guard in front of the circus? If you haven't agreed to solve the little problem then he won't let you in. hope that helps.

try resting in front of the circus and try again that way.. that might work
