Thought you guys might like to see the RNC's latest communique to me. I think it's ludicrous to say the Dem's try to attack and disseminate misinformation when the Repugs are putting out tripe like this.

Dear [Timber],

Democrat candidates for President continue their angry, personal attacks while President Bush focuses on creating jobs, growing our economy, winning the war on terror and making sure our seniors have a prescription drug benefit.

How do Democrats respond to this historic record of accomplishment?

Howard Dean compares President Bush to the Taliban and calls him the "enemy" and "despicable." Dick Gephardt calls the President "a miserable failure." John Kerry compared President Bush to Saddam Hussein, called for "regime change" and accused him of fraud.

In order for you to see and hear for yourself the ugly things they say about President Bush we have created this video of just a few of these negative, personal comments by the Democrat presidential candidates.

President Bush's leadership has delivered the strongest economic growth in nearly twenty years that is creating jobs. On Monday he will sign into law historic health care reform that helps make prescription drugs more affordable for America's seniors and their families.

While President Bush is leading, Democrats are attacking and making this one of the nastiest, vicious and negative campaigns in American history.

As you see the angry, bitter Democrats smearing our President I hope you will choose to join this campaign and support our President by making your contribution today.

Sincerely,

Ken Mehlman
Campaign Manager

PS: In four weeks the election year will be upon us. Please watch your inbox because over the next four weeks I will send you additional emails outlining what we are up against and how with your help we plan to re-elect President Bush and continue his leadership, his values, and his character working for us for another term.

"President Bush's leadership has delivered the strongest economic growth in nearly twenty years that is creating jobs." HUH?

We have no idea if his leadership lead to the growth of jobs and economy. Truth is presidents can barely touch the economy, its either raise taxes or lower taxes, thats about it. Its the consumer's job to bouy the economy which makes it ridiculous to push the economy either way. However, they could say consumers are now more confident in their saftey under his leadership and therefore spending more. Worthless personal attacks and whining on both sides doesn't help anything. I don't see the reason to get all worked up about this, the republicans bashed the democrats, the democrats bashed the republicans, soon everyones got mud in their eyes and no one can see a damn thing otherwise. Wow I think I'm gonna make that my new sig!

The Economy is doing better because of the tax cuts. The country got a boost with JFK's tax cuts. The same for Reagan's. Now the Bush cuts are taking effect. Now if only we can get him to stop this run away spending that he and congress are engaged in.

Maybe maybe not, it depends on alot more than simple tax cuts though that might have pushed consumers. The truth is there is nothing a president can do for the economy that will work unless the consumers work with it. Thats what I'm trying to say. It depends on how much people feel they can afford, what they think they need, how sure the future is, not some magical economy button the president pushes which is the belief some people seem to hold.

And the run away spending is understandable considering the situation the US was in after 9/11

I can't believe how many people are still talking like Bush is doing a good job !! Are you all on the government payroll? Or are you all rich and are hoping for more tax cuts for the rich or just plain ...DEAF DUMB and BLIND!!! This guy belongs in jail!!!Not another term in the white house!!
