I wish this had been an option when I made my more permanent choice. ;)

Good news indeed. I hope that there are any side effect by the time they are available in the market. otherwise, I would stick to the old rubber for the time being. ;)

Okay - Scenario time

Man: Let's have sex
Woman: Okay but I'm not on the pill - do you have a condom?
Man: No - but I am on the male contraceptive pill
Woman: Okay - I believe you!

Mmmmmmm I think I see a problem here!

Well there is still the whole disease prevention issue which isn't addressed by this or traditional female hormonal contraception. For casual sex, this can't replace current 'barrier' methods for responsible adults, but for those in relationships who either don't want or plan on waiting to have children this will be great.
