This is the first time I've chosen the keep as a stronghold, usually i just do the thief or the ranger one.
Just exactly when do you start getting the quests associated with the stronghold? Cause i've just about completed every possible large quest in Ch 2 but no one has run up to me and said 'blahblah - return to Keep cos there's a problem etc". What's with that?
If it means anything, i don't have Nalia in the party anymore, dropped her straight after i did her quest after she handed over the keys to her keep to me. And i've been back to the keep a coupla time to get my money as well...eh? Thanks...

Well, quests should start to show up a few days after you get the keep. Remember to speak with the guy (who I dont remember the name of) who watches the Keep while you're gone, he is the one that gives you the quests, or conflicts, which would be a better word. ;)

Also, once you go back for the gold only, go to Major Domo like Exxon said. Usually you'll get a quest every time.

Or keep resting until you get that "Gold" text, and then talk to Domo again. Some quests only happen if you go away from the Stronghold, you'll be able to tell which ones happen and which don't.

For instance, if you're resting, and the Gold comes up, and you talk to him but it's just the normal responses, go outside of the castle and a messenger will pop up almost right away, and say "Such and such has happened, Major Domo wants you!"

has anyone ever actually finished this stronghold quest? i never manage to take long enough to finish everything, and don't want to rest for a week just to get a stronghold quest, so i usually only get to the flood, then head off to Suldanessellar. All of the other stronghold quests are much more compact. Furthermore, doesn't it seem weird that you would totally scorn your duties as a lord/paladin/ranger/druid/bard/etc. just to head off to Tethyr in ToB? it doesn't make sense. But i guess you can't have everything.

Well for Tethyr, you have no choice.

As for quests, I think that with Clau Console, you can speed them up. I'm just not sure how.

I have finished the Stronghold quest for cleric and fighter. With Nalia's keep, the last quest is a biggie - don't want to spoil you - but you have gotten hints from Nalia what that was going to be.

With the Cleric, it depends on what Temple you are affiliated with. There are walkthroughs that will give you total details if you want them. :D

I do so love that last Fighter Quest, it's so satisfying!

Although...Read down below since you have already passed the quest, everyone who hasn't, it's a semi-spoiler

After I had finished the whole Fighter Stronghold Quest, and killed Lord Farthington Roenall, I had to go to Nalia's Father's Funeral. I had dropped her off for a long time, but I picked her up specifically to kill Farthington with me.

When we went to the funeral, there he was, alive and well. I had a great laugh at that. They should have put in a second version of the funeral where if you killed him, he wouldn't be there, and Iseaa swears revenge for his father's death.

Or a text option that says: Lord Farthington? I thought I had killed you at my keep...
