I don't know why this would be illegal, so why not try it -- sounds appealing to me:

Tl,Great idea I've been doig that for a while now.But do you notice that the crap they send you won't fit in their return envelopes! So I have to send their junk to someone else and vice versa .I'd love to see them opening my mail with all the crap coupons falling out !! Great and valuable post..

Wow you must have a real hell in the States, I've never have these kinds of problems with credit card companies over here. Might be that these companies know that I'm poor and don't wanna waste their time.

Now where did I put those coupons...?

Quoting from Cheech & Chong...."This is the same thing only different"....If you are mailing a letter would this work? Put YOUR OWN address in the "mail to" area and the recipients name in the "return addy" area...drop the letter in a mailbox with no stamp.....?????

My father-in-law, the judge used to do that all the time.

At least in the past, your idea has worked. I went to college who did this all the time. The other thing he did was you the Easter Seal stickers and put them in place of stamps and mail them. My favorite was when he mailed something to himself and used a ballpoint pen to draw a stamp. He got that one as well.
