I just finished it 5 minutes ago! Great! Awesome! I loved it!

I've just read the topics that try to explain what the final sequence means, so I'll make another type of questions.

In a couple of days I'm going to format my hard drive and re-install windows (got mayor problems). I wanted to do it some time ago, but I was waiting to finish SoA. The problem is: which files must I back up in order to be able to continue the story if I install Throne of Bhaal? I mean, does the game save a "game passed" file or something? If so, where is it?

just copy your "characters" folder in your bg2 files. then, copy them into the original file once you re-install. all of your characters will be there at their current level, with all of their equipment, just as you left them. (IIRC)

Oooops a double reply....sorry! The directory you need is in "Black Isle/Save". You need the copy the "Final Save". After you reformat you HD and re-install BGII then copy your final save into the 'Save' folder and you should be ok. I think Morgan_Corbesant just typed the wrong directory. I had the same problem before and this worked perfectly.

What I meant to say is: How does Throne of Bhaal know that you killed Irenicus? Or that doesn't matter? Beside the saved games, is there any archive that contains this flag that I may throw away when uninstalling SoA?

Your English is very good!

The only thing you need is the final save from SoA. This contains all the information that you will need. The flags are built into the final save.

I think.... wait a sec.... forget I said anything... maybe its the Override that stays... anyway I think the only thing you need is the save Games folderr :D </font>
