hi.
my sisters boyfriends play AD&D(im 13 and my sisters are 18 and 16) and said that i can watch them play AD&D next friday! later, i might get to play it :D ! im soo happy! i feel like a fan who has never seen an AD&D board(i dont know if im considered as a fan. i havent read any AD&D or RP book..)! just this saturday, one of my sisters showed me an AD&D map(awesome! all the places from games: Baldurs Gate, Athkatla, forests of Tethir, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter and many other places that are mentioned) and a book called "Volo`s guide to adventures" or something. anyway, anybody who has experienced it, is it fun? i dont excactly even know how it goes but i know most of the rules(because ive played so many RPGs) |

Well ADD is very good if you like fantasy.
I have been playing since 94 DM mostly at Ravenloft but have played player two times. One at Dark Sun and one at Greyhawk. I really enjoy playing still although I don't have the time to play as often as I like! The rules are excactly like BG games. Well actually the correct thing to say is that the BG games have ADD rules! :D |

you think it isnt fun? |
It's one thing to like "computerized" fantasy uss and another to like ADD fantasy.
I know friends who love BG but cannot stand an ADD session. |

Trust me you'll like it!Especially when someone goes around whacking trees with a hammer! What happened to the thread that had all those funny AD&D storys?
|
Yeah in ADD ther can be some really weird and funny scenes!!! :D

The problem with PnP is that if you get a bad group (12-14 year olds, most girls (I said most, quite flaming me), hyper kids) its no fun.
But if you get a good group it can be the best fun you can have while sober. |
