When you are all talking about the difficulty of each individual enemy you say if it's to difficult to you or easy, but in what level of difficulty do you play (I play in "Core Rules")?
|
I play "normal" rules, which isnt very hard, but with the improved enemy-patches for ToB ....
I have relatively small party, with only one fighter, and some fights wont allow too much spellcasting anymore .. so I'm having a pretty rough time .. i shudder at the thought of fighting the bosses on anything harder than normal :( |
if ya dont have exp. with that kind of games use the on on the bottom and if ya think thats 2 easy use normal

This time I'm playing core. My first game was on the easiest level. The second game a level harder and (as I said) this time core. So fare it has been ok. Not too easy but still not too hard. It isn't funny when you have to relaod 50 times (or is it just me?).

I play at insane difficulty - but I have play through the game 6 times
The first time I used core rules - and turned them to easy when fighting dragons and other very difficult monsters. ( and whenever I have to learn spells ) |
I used to play Normal and Core, but now I play on Insane permanently.
|
insane difficulty makes the game more rounded imo... otherwise you just cut through the everyday opposition like a hot knife through butter, and the most challenging battles tend to revolve around casters which aren´t affected much anyway.
|
Another vote for insane.

core and insane can be fun, but use normal for levelling up and rolling a character: you get maximum HPs. it can make a difference of 50+ hit points by the end of the game, and that's not fun.
