I know that none of those who aren't Dutch or maybe Belgian have ever heard of him, but a few hours ago, one of the most remarkable dutch tv personalities ever has passed away.
Bart de Graaff died at the age of 35. Three weeks ago, he was taken to the hospital because of a peritonitis. The doctors thought they had the infection under control, but didn't notice it caused a small hole in his small intestine. The doctors tried to remedy this during an operation to remove a part of his small intestine. Bart did not survive the complications of this operation. May he rest in peace. :( http://krant.telegraaf.nl/krant/ditj...l.087.bart.jpg |
You're serious? Damn, that's bad news indeed. I knew he had some health problems, but I didn't know he was taken into hospital. Damn.. poor BNN (de Graaff's own television network). I still remember that song they made in order to recruit 10.000 members for BNN.. Seems like yesterday.. May he rest in peace indeed :(

My parents are not home right now, so I've spent the entire evening behind the computer. Must've missed it. :(

Ach ja het is tragisch nieuws
de meesten van ons zijn echt met hem opgegroeid (dit klinkt dramatisch) maar bekijk het van deze kant. Bart's levensverwachting was 15 jaar ofzo. Hij is uiteindelijk 35 geworden Hij heeft veel van zijn dromen verwezelijkt en veel meer kan een mens niet wensen Het is jammer dat ie uiteindelijk moest overlijden moge hij ruste in vrede |
wow what a tragety, and I never even got to find out just who the heck he was..
