Was wondering earlier. What do you reckon the descriptions would be for some of the items in the lotr, hobbit, silmarilion etc..

there are loads of weapons (orcrest, galmdring, anduril, legolas' bow, sting, gandalfs & sarumans staffs, theodens sword (cant remember what its called)) and loads of other items (cloaks, broaches, etc)

What do you reckon their abilities would be i.e. bastard sword +7, can cast this, special thing this, immune to that..etc ?

With the item maker from TeamBG, I created the Master Ring of Invisibility. Only I made it a scroll type item so that you can use it endlessly just by clicking on the item slot like a spell scroll. I also made it so that the 'clicker' is non-detectable.

I believe the thread " jalerho's happy magic fun shop" had some lord of the rings items, you could try and search for the thread, has lots of fun items [img]smile.gif[/img]

there are a ton of versions of the One Ring. if you care (which i don't care if you do or not, im gonna tell you) i made one that was actually almost balanced.

it gives +3 to ac and saving throws, you regenerate 1 hp/2secs, makes you immune to just about all mind control/petrify/disease/poison/etc. that you can think of (NOT maze, imprisonment), gives +1 to str, dex, con, int; -2 to wis, cha; makes you Chaotic Evil, gives invisibility at will, can cast improved haste, 30 secs, and it also looks like an unadorned ring. it is, of course, cursed and non-sellable, because you REALLY don't want to take it off. much less game-unbalancing than some of the others, but not exactly a "bad" item.
