Well, I know this has little to do with Baldur's GAte 2 but I never found anything that people could not help me on in this forum. I have to upgrade my video card which at present is a lousy TNT2 Model 64. I don't know whether or not I should get a GeForce 2 TI or a GeForce 4 MX 440. Please post back guys. Thanks alot!

Depends what games you play, and your budget. If you're into things that eat frame rates like no tomorrow (like flight sims), it's generally better to go for the latest in vid cards, & that would be the GeForce 4. OTOH if you're into stuff like RPGs (which usually don't have stiff requirements for vid cards) a GeForce2 will suffice.

I'm using a TNT2 Ultra myself, still good for most of my games. Even my flight sim (Falcon 4) gets good enough frame rates on this card. It's perfectly adequate for BG2/BG/IWD. Wiz8 (demo version) played well on it with all the graphic options maxed.

The other thing to remember is to make sure the drivers for your card are updated. This helps alot especially with newer releases.

Well, I can spend 200 bucks max. I usually go for new hardcore action and rpg games. So what should I pick then. G2 TI or G4 MX440. Their relatively the same price but have different advantages.
