Something odd is going on. My char is a ranger dual to cleric, so you would think you could do the cleric specific stronghold quest. As in al dual characters, the latter class defines your stronghold right? Well apperantly not in my case.

When I complete the unseeing eye question, the priest of helm guy says the rewards would have been much greater if "I was one of there flok" and then that I'm welcome to stay but that "I have have missed a chance which would not return" and "that I'm occupied elsewhere". Asking the other priest cult to join only results in if i want there services (buying, healing).

I am never asked or given the oppertunity to join any of the priest cults, as I am supposed to having the description in mind for the cleric specific quests I found. The priest of lathander and talos only ask if I wan't there services. And the helm guy says I missed a chance which won't return.

I already tryed joining a other priest cult before I complete the unseeing eye quest before reporting it to the helm guy, but then also I'm only asked if I wan't there services.

What is all this about? Have I choosen the only char which can't get any stronghold or class specific quests? My alingment is chaotic good, and I already checked that is supposed to work with the lathander priest cult. My rep is also high enough (15).

The only thing I can think about is that you essentialy are supposed to become a priest kit when you choose a priest cult to join: priest of helm, lathander or talos. And that you can't dual to a class kit, and therefore can't become a kit when you have already dualed as I did (ranger to cleric). This would be a major drawback of the ranger/ cleric dual option wouldn't it, no real stronghold and quests?

<font color="deeppink">Well, when I completed that quest as a cleric, he said the same thing about not belonging to their flock. I think that's just a general dialogue script that's the same for everybody. So up till that part there shouldn't be a problem</font>

<font color="deeppink">Nah, the strongholds aren't based on those kits solely. After all, you can play a normal kit-less cleric as well, and they get assigned a Temple according to alignment, I think. So you're right you should get the Temple of Lathander because of your CG alignment. I'm pretty sure the dualled Ranger/Cleric characters can get a stronghold like any others, so if you've read the info on the quests you need to do for the Stronghold but your game hasn't triggered these at the right moment, either you have taken a wrong dialogue option somewhere or your game is buggy. Sorry that I couldn't be of more help... hope you'll be able to figure it out...</font>

I truly can't see where I have could go wrong.

1 First I go to the helm priest and accept the unseeing eye quest
2 I complete this quest and return to the helm priest, reporting it to other priests first has no effect.
3 I'm being told that i have missed a chance, and talking to the other priest cult has no effect.

I made a save before I accepted the eye quest so I will run things trouhg dough. See if i made a bad response somewhere, although I'm sure I didn't.

have you obtained the ranger stronghold at an earlier time? you can only have 1 stronghold (exception is the de´arnise hold under some circumstances)

No, I haven't even left the ciry yet. So I don't think that's the problem.

Did you talk to the less important preist on one side of the room? he will give you some more quests. I believe these are stronghold related.

no I didn't, but I know what you mean. I'll try it and see if it triggers something.
