Ok..... first of all go to BlockBuster or anuther video store and rent the following- Pet Cemetery, Carrie, The Night Flier, all Chuckies, Sixth Sense, It, all Freddie Krueger movies, The Exorsist.
Then, rent Resident Evil Zero or Nemesis and play and watch these things at like 1:30 at night, and have marilyn manson playing softly and Britney Spears (can we say brainwash and scary?) without her makeup on..... (pic) then.... scare yourself utterly silly til you start seeing the shadows move and fuzzies.... like I do EVERY NIGHT!
This post alone will scare Neb, Sephy, Cloudy, Jabidias, and Talthyr.

Talthyr Malkaviel 05-11-2002 07:57 PM

Yes Tiamat, scared... but not by that suggestion.
And besides, who'd listen to Britney Spears... for any reason?

Neb 05-11-2002 07:58 PM

The only truly scary things that you mentioned doing would be listening to Marilyn Manson. Ick. Pretty cool movies that you mentioned, though. Pet Cemetary is just seriously cool :D

The Exorcist is hardly scary. It's got a few gross parts, but scary? I think not.

Doesn't take much to start hallucinating and seeing moving shadows.

The Exorcist??? I laughed practically the whole way through (I couldn't stop when the head started spinning... it looked so fake it was funny)
And actually, from my experience, horror movies aren't scary, they are just glorified blood baths, it's the psychological horror thrillers that leave the lasting impression.
I mean, how many people recall the face of Hannibal Lecter compared maybe to a slight jump they had in some cheesy horror flick when the monster jumps from nowhere.
Especially when the killer remians alive at the end of the film, now drink a huge mug of coffee, watch a load of those types of movies at 4 in the morning while listening to some really evil sounding death metal playing ever so quietly in the background.

I wonder why he targeted us in particular??

jabidas 05-11-2002 08:05 PM

I was sort of cruel to him last week about the ho ho ho im insane act.

Talthyr Malkaviel 05-11-2002 08:08 PM

Yeah, i read that, and it might have been a little excessive, but I don't think it was uncalled for, anyway, why would that make him think that would scare us??? It's only movies.

The Marine campaign in AvP and AvP2 are far scarier than all of that put together. Or just the freaky dreams in Max Payne.

jabidas 05-11-2002 08:12 PM

Honestly I couldn't really care less and Im going to go to bed now. I'd normally just ignore anything he says anyway but I decided why not since im going anyway. Night Talthyr
