Anyone playing Morrowind?
I've got a few tech questions to post and no where to post them.

For now, I hope no one minds if I post them here.

Ok, I've got the game running but it is terribly slow. At first I thought it was my memory, I only had 128Mbs running Win2000 so I went out, bought 512Mb and install it. There has been some improovement but not much.

I meet all the min requirements now, does it just not run well under Win2000? If anyone has experience with it under 2000 and XP or 98 could you compare them. If I have too, I'll install 98, but I'd rather not if it's not going to help.

Or is it more likely my video card, I have a 32Mb ATI Rage 128 which meets the min, but I notice the recommended system is a 7500 or faster.

I'd appreciate advice from anyone with concrete experience.

The minimum requirements are crap. All the developers lie about it. From what I've heard. The game is just extremely demanding.
