Hi All,
I'm wondering when the best time to start chapter 3 is? I think i read somewhere that once you start chap 3, chap 2 quests are no longer avail. Is this true? I suppose i could just try it. I think i've done most of the chap 2 quests. My party are all level 13+ and i've plenty of gold.

Should i start chap 3 or should i *completely* 'flush out' chap 2 first?

My party consists of:
Fighter (Kensai) ME (good aligned)
Jaheira
Minsc
Korgan
Viconia
Yoshimo

As you can see, i have no mage. I would have Edwin but i like Minsc better. There don't seem to be enough NPC mages. I think Aerie is crap so i guess i'll just wait for Imeon.

Personally I flush out chap 2 first and get all the equipment and exp from the quests before moving on. ou could go on to chapter 3 and still do the quests but.....

.......after chapter 3 you will be taken away from the main map area and wont be able to return until chap 6 so be warned.

I've always opted to finish all the quests first and then find Imoen. You still get all the fun, and the plot-related battles are a heck of a lot easier.

I agree do all you can then go after Imoen

My opinion is the same, you should finish all the quests you can so that way your carachter become more powerfull (in armor and magical items as well as exp)...

I like starting chapter 3 once I have done most of the stronghold quests and NPC quests [img]smile.gif[/img] </font>

Starting chapter 3 doesn't make any difference - in fact Aran Linvail gives you some cool stuff to play with, in some situations it may be worth getting to it quickly. You can continue with all the quests afterwards, before doing _his_ quests.
