I'd like to ask people to post their polls in the polls forum. There is a reason for that forum you know...

No, you're not grumpy, Jorath Calar, and you're not the only one who feels this way, I'm sure.

There is a special forum called "User Created Polls" specifically for that purpose. I STRONGLY suggest from here on that any new polls created be placed there. Otherwise, expect new polls placed in GD to be deleted.

I do not pay much mind to the polls. it dose not bother me.

Two things - One - If you post a poll in the Poll forum, both people who check it on a regular basis will do it. Meaning if the people you are trying to get do the poll are here, then here is where the poll should be. Or you're gonna get the post, "Hey guys, look at my poll in the poll forum" and we are back to square One.

- Two - If we weren't suppose to do 'em here, why is there the option for it?

I personally click on 'em once and then ignor 'em.

I don't mind seeing the occasional poll in General Discussions - variety is not a bad thing sometimes. I think people post them here because they expect more votes/responses. Still, I shall take heed and post any future poll in the appropriate forum ;)

Well I'd rather see that "Heey look at the polls forum" because it just sounds out the ignorance of the GD peeps j/k but then at least he tried, and it was our fault.. and fully justifiable... but if we post polls here.. well a whole new different ball game

I like the Polls being in the General Forum so I don't have to go to another forum to get to them.

But, that's just me.

Well the fact that there IS already a place for them to be, means posting them in GD is A) putting them in a place they shouldnt be and B) Cluttering up the GD for all the proper threads!
B is the one that really gets to me, seems every second thread I look at now in GD is another bloody poll and seeing them there all the time in ever increasing numbers just really makes me want to scream. There is a place for them people! and its not here!
