1) How do you kill Wererats? None of my weapons seem to have any effect.
2) Where/How do you get more people in your party other than Morte? 3)What's the Deal with the Class system - If I become a thief, I'm no longer a fighter - I'm ok with that, but when I became a Mage, I no longer have my thief stats? What's Up with that? Do they ever come back, or am I stuck? Can you Multiclass? And how Do I become a Fighter or a Cleric? Having a low level mage and a floating Skull isn't working out too well for me right now (see question One) Thanks, BK |
Spoiler
- - - - - - - - 1) you need magical weapons (look around - you shold be able to find some) 2) You can find Dak'kon in the Smoldering Corpse Bar (SE Hive) - he's the only one availible to you at the present time (I guess that you are in the Weeping Stone Catacombs) 3)Dak'kon can train you as a fighter or a mage (change classes) - other than that you can find NPC's that can train you (I guess you've already met Mebden(?) You can only be one class at a time - so you had better decide on one and then keep that class (you can always play the game again as a different class) Hope this helps |
Magic weapons...good...*scribble scribble* got one...now I just have to be a fighter to use it...**looks at habit of saving only in one slot and sighs** backtracking....
Oh, and thanks Ar-Cunin BK |
Yeah, get Dak'kon and talk to somebody in the Northwest ward who might get some magical teeth for Morte.

You need a +2 weapon to hit wererats.
*minor spoilers below* I used the moorins punch daggers +2, because they were the only weapon I had of that enchantment. There somewhere in Weeping Stone but I cant spoil you even if you ask me to. (i cant remember) Dak'kon is pretty good as an NPC, he gets some unique spells of his own. Fighter training is from porphiron in *furrows brow* NW hive? Theif training is from some bloke in Ragpickers. |

oh and the punch-daggers of Moorin +2 can be found in one of the crypts that can be accessed from the Weeping Stone Catacombs |
It's a great game BK, starts out a bit slow but soon enough I reckon you will be getting into it. It is a great game too for those who like to read, Dakkon's stories are excellent especially with that voice (you'll see)
