Just caught it on the BBC. Two gunmen apparently invaded a school and systematically began shooting students room to room. One of them is still at large in the school apparently.

How sad.......
No school shootings ever occurred before they took prayer out of school...... or the Ten Commandments....

Why is it that people feel the urge to kill others. Why don't they just make our lives easier and just kill themself before going on a rampage such as this :( :( :(

Oh FFS. So non-Christians spend their time running round shooting each other then because they have no religious moral guidance? I don't think religion (or lack of it) has anything to do with it. Some of the horror stories about things that have gone on in religious run schools and children's homes don't lead me to believe that teaching religion is the answer to all societies ills - it is about whacked-out individuals of all religious/non-religious persuasions.

This is a terrible thing to have happened. :(

Systematically... meaning they didn't go haywire first? Wow.. purely sane peeps... shooting thinking maybe it's fun?

I caught a bit of this earlier today, I think that the remaining gunman has barricaded him in a room with a bunch of hostages? This is NOT good. And I believe that morals can be taught in other ways than religion, or at least other ways than CHRISTIAN religion. I'd rather have any children I might once have be taught Wicca in school instead of Christianity.

I am curious as to why when something like this happens, one of the first things someone will say is, "it is because they took prayers out of school"....

This kind of thing has been going on a long time in schools, the only difference is it has went from fists, to knives, to guns and drugs.
And you will find alot of the persons who commit these acts go to church every Sunday....

I feel sorry for the families of those hurt in these horrible shootings, do you think we can concentrate on them, instead of who, what or why caused it?

Sorry, no offense to anyone, just my opinion. When we had the shootings here in Arkansas, the first thing that was brought up was the prayers in school excuse, and you can't get more bible-belt than Arkansas, so that is no excuse. And I was raised with loaded guns in the house, and I have never went on a shooting rampage, so that is not an excuse either.

About the religion thing, I have no religion, I never wanted one either, and I'm perfectly sane. I don't think religion has anything to do with it. Its just their fault for being retarded and so on. If they want to be so demented then they obviously either have something really wrong with them, or something is really troubling them. I personally think that religion is just abunch of different theories about what happens before and after life.
