Why I can't install Baldur's Gate 2 in Windows XP? I can install the game in Win98

You should be able to install BG2 on Win XP. What kind of problem are you facing and what error messages do you get? If you post them, it would be easier to help you.

Beldar, I have played BG2 on 98, ME, 2000 and XP. It actually runs the best for me on XP, so what actually happens?

Aviendha : You can add NT to you list also. It runs great on NT.

I'm Spanish and my english isn't perfectly.
When I put the first CD in CD-Rom start the autorun. I select install and the system don't respond. I can install Baldur's in Win98 within any problem. Explorer doesn't show any error window.

Have you tried just ignoring the Autorun section, going into Windows Explorer and finding the Setup program on the cd. I guess it's worth a try!!! If that doesn't work, come back and we'll try something else.

i don't see your problem, i guess that it worked for us all in xp so why don't work for you?

Maybe if you just wait little, your cd could be a little damage and if your cd-rom is 48x or up then it'll take a bit to read it, do you hear any sound of the cd-rom speeding up and then down drastically?

Finally! I can install Baldur's in my PC. The CD have a error, but I don't understand why he doesn't say me. I other PC show a error message.
