I was exiting the metro around 4:30 or so when the front blew through! I got soaked! Wild storm front. Things should get a little greener very fast I should say!
I didn't hear about the fire but I did hear about the de-railed train..): It was an Amtrack heading from Florida to here. What the heck happened?

Well I guess you missed it, was a huge fire, they blocked all the roads off for hours, must have been 25 firetrucks there, ack. Scared the crap out of me when I was driving home, was around 5:00pm, this lightning bolt came straight down, looked to me about 30 feet away to my right, was blinding and made a big thunderous crack. I almost drove off the road when it struck and instinctively kinda ducked down waiting for a tree or something to fall down on us all in traffic. I knew the lightning hit something from the sound, but was just all freaked out at that point, driving home with that high wind and the green/yellow fog that the winds stirred up cause of the incredible pollen. Was like being in a different world, freaky doensn't even cover it. Then I heard from the neighbors that the apts were struck across Jordan, major damage, roads closed. It's sad cause so many are probably out of a home right now, and it kinda IS my neighborhood, I hope that nobody died or was injured, news was sadly slow at getting to the scene and reporting it, I imagine we won't hear any details until 10:00pm or 11:00pm news tonight.

Plus it seems we got some gang activity in our area Conan, what should we do about dat? Which side do you want to work with the dipshits or the dipsticks? Lemme know~! [img]tongue.gif[/img] :D :rolleyes: :D
