ahh, at last i finished this game! i posted this topic to say that it`s really good! the best RPG of all time, actually! well, in this game i really loved all the nice planes i went through. i was really excited to see them because i`ve heard of them in baldurs gate 2.
SPOILERS(don`t look when you haven`t finished the game(you too, galadria) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - mm..Carceri, Baator, Negative Material Plane.. yummy! and the ending was very satisfing too. twas cool to see Dak`kon reaching his true power with his awesome blade! :D but i didn`t quite understand what happened to the nameless one.. 1 ending) he killed himself 2 ending) he stayed as the nameless one(in the cinematic, was he fighting in carceri??) 3 ending) united with trancendent one, a couple of centuries or so being in that fortress, then staying as nameless one. ok, now correct me. |
Alright, endings for PS:T that I have seen:
Spoiler! - - - - - Kills self, has peace with Deionarra. Spoiler! - - - - - Kills Transcendent One, ends up in Baator/Abyss. Spoiler! - - - - - Merges with Transcendent One, thinks he ends up in Baator/Abyss too. (I say the Abyss/Baator because there are Baatezu fighting, and the Baatezu and Tanar'ri(Residents of Baator and the Abyss) are involved in the Blood War against each other.) |

Well, the story is that he USED to be VERY, VERY, VERY evil. So he made himself immortal(By removing his soul) so he'd never have to go to Baator/The Abyss, no matter how good he was in his later lives he couldn't atone for it.
I wish they'd make a PS:T 2 where his old partymembers go to Baator/The Abyss to fetch him back.... Then perhaps you could play some mercenary that they'd hired to aid them.... |
SPOILER
- - - - - - - - - Nyaa, nyaa, I read it. Anyway,I knew about the endings because they talk about them on th Black Isle Boards all of the time. One gu e-mailed me a saved-game where it shaows the movie of the Namelesss One picking up a mace and going off to fight in the Blood Wars. |

It was a good ending, the best was the merging with the transcendent one...
Yes, he does go back, he knows where he should be... Deionarra will always be with him, even in Baator, where you see Mercykillers, whoevers dead in Baator fighting.. but then, I think the Nameless One will bring them to victory and he will be back soon enough... ;) |
