I Know this has probably been asked before, but what's the go with Edwin and that damn book. You find the thing after killing the lich for him and it never gets mentioned again, Do you have to trigger something !

Wait a couple of days. Edwin will talk about the scroll, tell him that it is party treasure, or you will end the sub-quest prematurely.

Yeah, Dundee, I did that in my Evil game, but never saw hide nor hair of what rumor saith happens regarding the Nether scroll. Guess I must just have a bug or something.....

After you tell him that it is party treasure, you have to wait a few more days, after which he will suddenly declare that he cracked the code on the scroll and proceed to cast from it. Then you know what happens. ;)

Yep, did all that. "We all found it, we all own it," then walked around for days.....slept for days to see if it was triggered by resting....even stood around for a week with Ctrl-T. Nada. Aaahhh, poopie!

I don't think Ctrl-T actually works conversation wise.

Its a bug, if you said it is the 'groups treasure, we all own it' then the bug will happen and the quest stuffs up [img]smile.gif[/img] sorry ...
there is a patch somewher to fix this but if it already happened then it won't fix it. Only fixes the bug if the event hasn't happened yet...

Yeah, a bit of confusion here I reckon, sorry to do this. If you tell him it is party treasure ("We all own it...") then *nothing* will happen. However long you wait. You need to use the other option, something like "You can have it but don't kill anyone with it". And the conversation when you have to do this occurs straight after killing the lich. Then you wait for a few days and the quest starts. There is quite a lot of simply waiting around in this quest though, if I remember correctly. Basically it might be working even if you think you have missed your chance as it does take a quite some time to conclude.

Yeah, I never got into any conversation, must be a bug, thanx for your healp anyway's people !
